Our next collaborative adventure with SAOTA is currently under construction in the Hollywood Hills on Sunset Plaza. It commands 270° views of the Pacific Ocean, the mountains and the city. The design capitalizes on the site, with large terraces extending out from the house, and to a cantilevered swimming pool and lounge area, with a bridge leading to a lowered sun deck. The house is a dramatic cantilevered design with a central corridor, open to the sky, and a striking roof deck.

PECK performed Architectural, Structural and Civil scopes for the project. The project also includes a Soil Nail shotcrete skin on the steep road cuts along Sunset Plaza, which allowed us to maintain the current pad configuration to accommodate the residence. The Soil Nail System was also designed by PECK Structural.
