Monrovia is a seven story, 230 unit, mixed use, multi-family building with five levels of concrete parking at the core of the building, and a swimming pool in the courtyard on level five. The concrete structure within the perimeter of the building of light frame construction presents unique design challenges because the floor level elevations vary and the load transfer between the two structural systems is complex.
