Monrovia is a seven story, 230 unit, multi-family building with five levels of concrete parking at the core of the building. Designing a five-level concrete structure within the perimeter of a building with light frame construction is a unique challenge because the floor level elevations vary and the load transfer between the two structural systems is complex.

There is a swimming pool in the courtyard on level five.

PECK is the Structural and Civil Engineer on this project and the building is being constructed with our structural design. Monrovia is a major mix use project.
