Our friend and renowned architect, John Bertram, has had one of our structural projects published in Architectural Digest on December 27, 2017.
PECK Structural's project engineer, Justin Bernhoft, performed the structural design for this residential space turned cozy, colorful open office. As is typical with the best architecture projects, we applied a high level of design thinking along with the architect to achieve a finely detailed result.
A converted loft in the city, with steel doors and exposed beams became a blank canvas for Neuwirth's design team. The result is a sweeping open office, with kitchen, enclosed conference room, and a private office for Neuwirth. Natural wood partitions divide the space into departments, where the vibe is clean, modern lines dressed in patterned and textured fabrics.
